Our Current Situation

Today our youth are growing up in a world which is becoming more disconnected from each other everyday. Our youth are spending most of their free time attached to devices such as IPads and Iphones. These are portable and easy access. Most even have to use devices in schools everyday. So how much screen time is a problem? What is it doing to your child/teenagers health and wellbeing?

  • Did you know that the Apps and Programs on these devies are designed to be addictive?
  • How does your teenager or child respond when you try to take them away or get them to turn it off? Do you get tantrums and angry outbursts?
  • Is your child struggling with depression and anxiety?
  • have they become withdrawn and don't socialise as much?

Chances are highly likely that they have developed a technology addiction.

What can you do about this? Well, what would you do if they were addicted to taking drugs? or drinking alcohol?

I have attached a great podcast called "How the iPhone rewrote the teenage brain". Have a listen.
